TODAY IS THE DAY!

📣📣We are so excited to see everyone for our public information meetings today being held at the Chemung County Historical Society on Water Street. 📣📣

The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation (OPRHP) will be hosting Public Information Meetings for the Newtown Battlefield State Park Comprehensive Plan. These meetings will take place at the Chemung County Historical Society.
In-person or virtual attendance is encouraged. There will be two meetings: 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. You do not need to attend both meetings. Each meeting will cover the same content.
Public information meetings are an opportunity for you to provide your feedback, questions, and concerns for the Park directly to OPRHP staff. Each meeting will provide an overview of the Park, what a comprehensive plan is, and include time for questions and comments.
