It is my honor to join former County Executives Tom Santulli and Tom Tranter by offering my full support to Chemung County Executive Chris Moss in this Tuesday's election. Chris is a proven, experienced leader that I have known and worked with for more than twenty years.
Throughout his career, Chris has consistently demonstrated the qualities that define true public service: reliability, responsiveness, fiscal responsibility, and an unwavering commitment to transparency.
Every time I call on Chris for something, he follows through. When inquiries arise from colleagues, constituents, or community partners, Chris responds promptly, thoughtfully, and with a clear understanding of the issues at hand. His reliability is not an occasional trait; it is a defining characteristic of his leadership.
Chris also has an extensive track record of fiscal responsibility, ensuring that taxpayer dollars are managed effectively, and always with the goal of strengthening Chemung County’s future.
Equally important is Chris’s commitment to transparent governance. Chris works in a manner that invites accountability and public engagement, which generates public trust. He communicates openly, makes information accessible, and ensures that decisions are made with clarity and integrity.
During Chris' time as County Executive, he has had to make many tough decision. He has told us what we need to hear, not just what we may want to hear. His decisions have not always been popular, but they needed to be made.
For these reasons, and based on two decades of firsthand experience, I am proud to endorse Chris Moss for re-election. His unwavering leadership has been an asset to Chemung County.
