Elmo Fire responded to the sight of a small plane crash this evening. We would like to thank the numerous agencies and personnel that responded to assist.

NODAWAY COUNTY, Mo. — A 46-year-old Clearmont man was seriously injured when the plane he was piloting crashed in Nodaway County near the Iowa state line on Saturday evening.

A few of our members attended a training this evening! Huge thanks to Maryville Fire for inviting us to participate!
Training consisted of hose drag techniques, search and rescue, forced entry, and techniques for going through a window!

We assisted our neighbors, West Nodaway Fire, with an early morning fire involving a camper and shed along Highway KK. No injuries, but the shed and camper were a total loss.
