Come visit us! The Elmont Memorial Library is a Family Place Library .

Whether you're looking for the latest fantasy novel, a quiet place to study, the newest releases in movies, or a safe place to hang with friends and play video games....TEEN CORNER is the place for you! This means that we have joined other libraries on Long Island and nationwide that offer resources to promote early literacy – the idea that literacy begins at birth, that children prepare to read and acquire reading skills long before they start school – and that one of the roles of the public library is to help build healthy communities and healthy families.
