On 06/09/2016 @ approximately 1050 hours, The Elmore City police department with the assistance from Garvin County Sheriffs office served a search warrant inside the city limits of Elmore City. After the search warrant was served, 2 adult individuals was taken into custody and transported to the Garvin County Jail for booking on district charges.

Drug bust 06/03/2016 @ 2300 hrs. A suspicious pickup was found behind the Elmore City lake. There was 2 adults and 1 under age female inside the vehicle. Both adults was arrested and transported to garvin county jail. The under age female was released to her parents. Assisting was Maysville PD, and Garvin County Sheriffs deputy.

With summer break approaching very quickly, we would like to remind you that if you haven't yet registered your boat, side x side, or golf cart through the city, it's not too late. Come by city hall and register.

Elmore City allows its citizens who have properly registered their side x sides and golf carts to ride them on city streets. All you need to do is come by city hall and pay the registration fee and get your sticker.

Also if you would like to use your boat on the city lake, you also need to register your boat with the city and receive a permit. This is for all boat owners.

Fishing license can be bought at gas n go, city hall, and from any police officer. If you receive a water bill from Elmore City, you do not have to buy a fishing permit. But you still have to register your boat!
