Our cook's first job out of high school was working at the second floor snack bar of the old Reavis Drugstore. One of the most popular items was the chicken salad sandwich. They made it fresh weekly. Cooked the chickens on Wednesday and made chicken salad on Thursdays. The original recipe was only 4 ingredients. Chicken, mayo, and the two ingredients you see here sprinkled on top. Tomorrow, the EC Senior Citizens will have a version of that famous recipe. Ours will have grapes and pecans along with the mystery spices. There's only a small number of people who know the recipe. Our cook will soon be 62 years old. It's amazing she still remembers what those two ingredients are🤣😂🤣 yall come get you a Reavis Drugstore chicken salad sandwich tomorrow at 11:30 am in the Elmore City Community Center💕🙌🏼

We had a great first class on Monday morning!! Class is Mondays and Wednesdays starting at 8:30 am in the community center. Donna Buron from the Garvin Co. Health Dept. is our instructor. See everyone in the morning at 8:30 am 🙏🏻☺️

A special commemorative coin was misplaced last Thursday at the Senior citizens lunch. It was a 250th anniversary Veterans coin in a plastic case. If anyone happened to notice it please message this page or contact Ron Endler 🙏🏻🙏🏻🕊️
