Be sure to stop by Town Hall and see “We the People,” a stunning commemorative quilt created by the Alamance Piecemakers Quilt Guild in honor of the upcoming 250th anniversary of the United States. 🧵🪡

This remarkable project brought together 75 guild members who collaborated throughout 2025 to design and create the quilt. Featuring a patriotic red, white, and blue design, the quilt showcases our national bird at its center and includes the names of all 50 states embroidered in order of admission to the Union.

The quilt is a gift to the Alamance County community and will become part of the permanent collection of the Alamance Historical Museum at the end of 2026.

We invite residents and visitors to stop by Town Hall during regular office hours to view this beautiful piece of community artistry. Photography is encouraged! 📸
