🚨 IMPORTANT DRINKING WATER UPDATE – CITY OF ELOY 🚨
The City of Eloy is pleased to share a positive update regarding your drinking water quality.
The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) has officially closed the Notice of Violation (NOV) issued on February 20, 2026. The City has met all required compliance conditions, and no further enforcement action will be taken.
💧 What this means for you:
• The City of Eloy is fully in compliance with state drinking water regulations
• Nitrate levels have been significantly reduced, from 11 mg/L to 7.90 mg/L and 6.84 mg/L
• Water operations have been improved using lower-nitrate sources and optimized well usage
• Monitoring has been expanded to ensure continued safety and compliance
