⚠️ WEATHER ALERT – DRIVE SAFE, ELSA ⚠️

Please use extra caution on the roadways during today’s weather conditions. Wet roads and reduced visibility can make driving dangerous.

🚒 Slow down, use your headlights, avoid flooded areas, and stay alert. Our firefighters are ready to respond — help us keep our community safe by driving carefully.

Please be safe out there, Elsa. ❤️

Yesterday the Elsa Fire Department alongside with Skyline Ems came together for an evening of hands on training.

These trainings focus on Teamwork, Communication and Patient care. Our members along with EMS personnel worked on emergency scenarios, CPR, practicing patient packaging to coordinating rescues.

These types of trainings help strengthened partnerships between Fire and EMS building trust and improving the way we respond together during real emergencies.

By training as one we continue to better serve and protect our City and surrounding communities when every second counts.

Thank you Skyline EMS for providing us with the necessary tools for this training. đźš‘

During Law Enforcement Appreciation Week, the Elsa Fire Department would like to recognize and thank our neighbors at the Elsa Police Department for their continued dedication, sacrifice, and service to our community. 💙🚔

If you see one of our officers out in the community this week, take a moment to wave, say hello, and thank them for their service. A small gesture can go a long way in showing appreciation for the men and women who work every day to keep our city safe.

We also take this time to remember and honor those who served before them, including Chief Jesus Rosalez Jr., whose commitment and impact on this community will never be forgotten.

Thank you to all past and present officers for your service, courage, and dedication. 🔥🤝

**Honoring Our Local Heroes** đźš’

Today, we take a moment to recognize the incredible men and women of our volunteer fire departments on FIREFIGHTER APPRECIATION DAY..

Being a **volunteer firefighter** means more than just wearing a uniform. It’s about answering the call at 3:00 AM, missing family dinners, and stepping into danger while others are running from it.

These are our neighbors, our friends, and our coworkers. They donate their most precious resource—their time—and are driven by a commitment so deep they are willing to lay down their lives for this community.

"Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends." 🙏🏼

To our volunteers: THAK YOU, Thank you for your bravery, your sacrifice, and your unwavering dedication to keeping us safe. We sleep better at night knowing you’re on the watch.🔥🚒
