🚔 ELSA POLICE DEPARTMENT | SPECIAL RESPONSE TEAM TRAINING 🚔

The Elsa Police Department is proud to announce that our first group of officers has successfully completed Special Response Team (SRT) / Close Quarters Battle (CQB) training as part of our continued commitment to professional development, officer safety, and public safety.

This specialized training focuses on teamwork, communication, tactical movement, decision-making, and coordinated responses to high-risk situations. By providing our officers with advanced training, we are better preparing them to respond safely, effectively, and professionally when our community needs us most.

Our goal is to have every Elsa Police Department officer trained in SRT/CQB, creating a department-wide foundation of preparedness and ensuring our personnel can work together as one coordinated team during critical incidents.

We remain committed to continuously improving our skills, strengthening our team, and providing the citizens of Elsa with the highest level of law enforcement service possible.

🚨 Preparedness Through Partnership 🚨

Today, Captain Rolando Cano of the Elsa Police Department had the opportunity to present the Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events (CRASE) course to the staff of IDEA Elsa.

The CRASE course provides participants with valuable information and practical strategies on how to respond during an active threat situation. Training and preparedness are critical to helping individuals make informed decisions during an emergency.

We appreciate the IDEA Elsa administration and staff for their commitment to creating a safer environment for their students, employees, and community.

The Elsa Police Department remains committed to working alongside our local schools and community partners through education, preparedness, and prevention.
