🪴Kindness Grows Here🪴

This year, our special area teachers, with the help of an amazing aide, created a special area in our garden, dedicated to our dear friend and colleague, Mrs. A.

Inspired by this year‘s theme, Kindness Grows Here, every TVEC student added their thumbprint to hand-painted stepping stones, creating a lasting reminder that even the smallest act of kindness can grow into something truly meaningful.

We are also sharing a glimpse of our thriving spider plants, which have continued to grow, and now have their own baby spiderettes. It feels like the perfect reflection of the kindness, care, and joy that Mrs. A. shared with our school community each day. Her impact continues to grow in the hearts of our students and staff, spreading from one person to another just like these plants continue to flourish.

This garden is a celebration of connection, growth, and the many ways kindness takes root at TVEC. Together, we are growing something beautiful that will continue to bloom for years to come.🪴💚🤍🪴

Today was a BIG day at TVEC-and we have the happy tears to prove it! 🎉

Our incredible 4th graders officially moved up today, and just like that, a new chapter begins! These amazing kids have grown SO much - in knowledge and in kindness!

We laughed, we celebrated and we sent them off with full hearts and loud cheers. TVMS, you are so lucky - these kids are something special. 🌟

To our 4th graders: You will ALWAYS be part of our school family! And to every family who walked through our doors - thank you for sharing your children with us. What a year it has been! 💚🤍

A few of our students started a book club after school in their neighborhood. They met every other week throughout the year! For their last session, they had local author, Marilyn Blair, visit to give them writing tips and get ideas for her new book. They also had a book drive to donate gently used books to the Lighthouse Children and Women’s Center. Thank you to Mrs. Klemmer and Mrs. Bebee for helping these kids find books to enjoy together and for encouraging their love of reading!

If you did not already know, we have a published author on our staff here at TVEC! Lauren Nappi has shared her second published picture book, Poppy’s Quills, with our students! Her daughter, Ella wanted to share her mom’s special new story with her class. 📖♥️
