🚨 Training Spotlight: Auto Aid Training 🚨

Elwood Fire Protection District hosted an Auto Aid training session focused on strengthening coordination and response with neighboring departments. Over the course of 3 days, 71 firefighters trained at the Norman Fanning Training Facility, alongside personnel from Wilmington, Manhattan, East Joliet, and Channahon.

The training emphasized clear communication, unified command, and seamless interoperability when multiple agencies respond to the same incident.

These joint efforts help ensure that when seconds matter, our teams operate as one—providing faster, more efficient service to the communities we serve.

We appreciate the dedication of all participating agencies and personnel who continue training together to better protect our residents. 💪🚒
