Congratulations, Eagle Scout Connor Gualandi!
The Village of Elwood is proud to recognize Connor Gualandi for earning the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest honor in Scouting.
During the June 3, 2026, Village Board meeting, Village President Doug Jenco presented Connor with a special certificate of recognition on behalf of the Village. Connor's achievement reflects more than a decade of dedication to Scouting and approximately 1,000 hours of service to his community.
As part of his Eagle Scout journey, Connor designed and built a Veteran Memorial Garden, creating a lasting tribute to the men and women who have served our nation.
In recognition of this outstanding accomplishment, Jeff Alexander, Commandant of the Grundy County Marine Corps League, also presented Connor with a $1,000 scholarship grant from the organization.
Please join us in congratulating Connor on this remarkable achievement and thanking him for his commitment to service, leadership, and our community!
