Earlier this week, Administrator Miller, alongside school administration, board members and other city leaders, attended a pre-opening tour of the new Prairie Summit YMCA. This addition to the College Community School District will be a wonderful amenity available to Ely residents!

The community is invited to a ribbon cutting ceremony and open house on Tuesday, September 8 at 5:00pm. As part of the opening celebration, Prairie High School will host a swim meet beginning at 6:00pm. Admission to the swim meet is free.

Ely residents are eligible to receive a 30% discount on membership fees.

The City of Ely services including City Hall, the Library and Public Works will be closed on Monday September 7, in observance of Labor Day. We hope that everyone has a safe and enjoyable holiday weekend!

The September menu will be available on Friday the 4th, with food pickup at City Hall on September 11th.
