Ely Farmers Market

Ely Farmers Market This is a summer farmers market. The market typically closes in October.

We open on the first Saturday in May and operate on Saturday 9-12noon and Wednesday 4-6.30 (new day) Opening day we are there till 3pm to coincide with the city wide garage sales. Ely is located between Iowa City and Cedar Rapids.

Our market features 7-10 local vendors offering

homemade, handmade and homegrown goods. Recent markets have featured locally grown produce, baked goods, candles, hair accessories, jewelry, forced bulb arrangements, local authors, cooking demos, jellies, door prizes, sock monkeys, crystal crafts, homespun yarn, live music and much more.

Ely Iowa currently does not have a farmers market, It closed about 7 years ago prior to 2018 season

We have lots of beautiful tomatoes tomatoes for sale they are $1 per pound they are very large Roma type Big Mama brand tomatoes they are very meaty great for sauces and salsas and canning give me a call or direct message at 319-310-4671.

I have a ton of tomatoes for sale.
Especially Roma type tomatoes know as "big Mama's" we also have slicers firm and meaty message me if you would like some we will be selling them from 0730-0815 from are house Sunday morning. Then again after 2:30 pm. Address is 1495 North Dr Ely Iowa. Price is $2.00 per pound for a few.
Perfect tomatoes for canning are $1.50 per pound.
And downright uglies are $1.00/pound.

We will be moving the market to Dan and Debbie’s Creamery located at 1600 Main Street, Ely, IA 52227 tomorrow! It’s still early in the season but we do have a few vendors that want to come set up shop. Come out and see us from 9 a.m. - noon.

Ely Iowa Farmers Market is now open. Stop by for some fresh kolaches cookies jams and jellies and other baked items. We also have today the first crop of green beans, we have cabbage, red beets, romaine lettuce, basil, rhubarb, broccoli, red raspberries and black raspberries for sale.
