This event is for parent/caregivers who are looking for community and guidance that positively impacts their family unit! Event offers free childcare/youth activities and a meal catered by Gators.

Meet Lauren!
Lauren Porthan is our Elementary Program Lead in charge of keeping all of our elementary programming running smoothly. From coordinating field trips and onboarding students and support staff to helping organize the ECR Fishing Derby Fundraiser, she’s involved in just about everything. Lauren keeps our 30+ daily participants organized and thriving, all while keeping her passion for youth work at the heart of everything she does.
When she’s off the clock, you’ll likely find Lauren out on the lake or in the woods with her dogs or winning a local dance competition. And if you’ve got an angling question, she’s definitely the one to ask! If you have questions regarding any of our Elementary Programs email [email protected]

Outdoor Club hit the lake after ice out to get a paddle in the water! Taking advantage of the sunshine and each others company.
Outdoor Club takes place every Wednesday and is for 6th - 12th grade. If your child is interested in joining this club please contact Ryan Stewart through email - [email protected]

Did You Know - Candle Ice occurs when the warm weather and sun melts the ice on the lakes from the inside out. Who else has heard the natural jingle the ice makes as it breaks apart this time of year?
