Huge "THANK YOU" to the Ely Elks Lodge for sponsoring the 2026 WPC Library poetry contest. Also to our judges: Susan Jensen, John Charchalis, and Matt Hibbs they definitely had their work cut out for them because all teh participants were AWESOME!!!

Kindergarten-2nd Grade winners of the poetry contest. 1st place Luciana wrote "A Little Star" she won a Yoto player . Ila wrote "My Angel Kiwi" she won a $50.00 gift certificate to Barnes and Noble.

3rd-5th Grade winners from the poetry contest. 1st place "Snow Day" by Rosalie she won a Yoto Player and 2nd Place "Fishing" by Brinley she won a $50.00 gift certificate from Barnes and Noble.

Our Child Find, Pre-K, and Kindergarten Registration will be held this Tuesday, May 12th at the High School Auxiliary Gym.

We will have several community vendors available to answer questions and provide helpful resources for families, including:

• Ely Aquatic Center

For decades, The Bristlecone Arts Council, Bristlecone Arts Ely NV , has seen the incredible value of community partnerships.
From gathering artisans and skilled craftsfolk from all over the country, and bringing them to Ely’s Veterans Park, to combining forces over the years with the Sagebrush Quilters Guild, the White Pine County Library Book Fair, and the Ely Film, Art, & Music Festival, as well as to being a dedicated Chamber Member.

The White Pine Chamber of Commerce is enormously proud to have been supporting this group for 40 years of membership. The steadfast volunteers of the Bristlecone Arts Council deserve special recognition for their monumental achievements. We are thrilled to mark their Legacy of Community Building, and we celebrate their upcoming Arts in the Park Weekend, the first weekend in August.

Volunteer with this group. Be a part of one of the best events in Nevada! We look forward to championing them, and our entire community, for another 40 years!

Death's Garden by Rebecca took 1st Place and won a Chromebook.
Somethings by Kat took 2nd Place and won a $50.00 Barnes & Noble gift card.
