Light the Night for Fallen Firefighters
We invite you to light up red from April 26 to May 3, 2026 to honor the fallen and their families.
The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation launched Light the Night for Fallen Firefighters in 2017 to commemorate the Foundation’s 25th anniversary.
Held annually during the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend, this tribute has grown to include fire departments, families, and communities across the country lighting their homes and buildings in red to honor fallen firefighters.

We invite you to join us by lighting your home, and the community in red during Memorial Weekend as a symbol of support and remembrance.
