10-11-2026 This week was the AACA ( Antique Automobile Club of America ) Eastern Region Annual Fall Meet and it did not disappoint. We arrived on Monday and departed on Friday morning. In between was lots of walking to search the 8000 vendor spaces on 5 different fields to find just the right items to purchase. In 4 days walking about 20 miles on all the paved parking lots at Hershey Park in Hershey, Pennsylvania. And some pictures of the items I found and purchased.

10-04-2026 Federal Model Q2B Another recently completed Siren. Another great older style Q Siren everything re-chromed and looks great. As with all restored sirens the motor has New Bearings and Brushes and works like a New one. The best part of these restored older sirens is they have the Heavy Duty Prestolite motors that were made to last. Also the earlier clutch assemblies that lasted and worked forever with no need for service. Saving old Lights and Sirens one at a time.

10-04-2026 Federal Model Q1B Another recently completed Siren. This is a different siren than the one I posted a day or two ago. This siren is finished in a Silver Hammertone color. As with all restored sirens the motor has New Bearings and Brushes and works like a New one. The best part of these restored older sirens is they have the Heavy Duty Prestolite motors that were made to last. Also the earlier clutch assemblies that lasted and worked forever with no need for service. Saving old Lights and Sirens one at a time.

10-03-2026 And another recently completed restoration. Federal Model 19 Propello-Ray as most know this was a Spinning light when equipped with the correct sealed beam broadcast a straight line of light that would spin looking like an airplane propellor. Very impressive warning light for its time. This particular light is for the roof of a Packard Ambulance that the owner did not raise the garage door high enough and damaged it going into there garage. But now good as new and ready to go back to work. A couple before pictures included. Saving old Lights and Sirens one at a time.

10-01-2026 I have a few surplus Mack scripts and emblems I’ve had re-chromed. They look great and all mounting studs and threaded holes are intact.

10-01-2026 And another great Siren Federal Model 78B Double Tone. This siren was damaged on both ends in shipping. Unfortunately had to replace the rear cover that had a light with a standard motor cover. Saving old Lights and Sirens one at a time.
