💗 October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and today our staff wore pink to show their support for everyone affected by breast cancer.

Whether it’s a friend, family member, coworker, or someone in our community, many of us know someone whose life has been touched by this disease. While October brings a special focus to breast cancer awareness, support, education, and early detection are important all year long.

To learn more about breast cancer, including symptoms and early detection, visit the CDC’s breast cancer resource page:

🐾 Important Dog License Update 🐾

As of today, September 30th, our participating vendors will stop selling 2026 Lorain County Dog Licenses as we begin preparing for the 2027 license season.

2027 dog licenses will be available online and in the Lorain County Auditor’s Office beginning November 1st. Licenses will return to participating vendors in mid-November, and we’ll share the official vendor start date as we get closer!

If you still need a 2026 license, you can purchase one directly through the Lorain County Auditor’s Office or the Lorain County Dog Kennel.

A big thank you to our participating vendors for helping make dog licensing more convenient throughout the year, and to our community for keeping Lorain County dogs safe, loved, and licensed! 🐶🏷️
