What happens at the legislative level doesn’t stay at the legislative level—it directly impacts how veterans are served, supported, and understood in our communities.

Join us for a live legislative briefing featuring David Root, Editor of the Ohio Legislative Report, and Kat Johnson, Veteran Advocate, Founder of Oxygen Coaching Group, and Executive Chairwoman of Ohio Western Reserve Ladies as they break down what is currently happening at the state level—and what it actually means on the ground.

This conversation will move beyond headlines and into real application:
-What legislation is being introduced, passed, or challenged
-Where policy and real-world veteran experiences align—and where they don’t
-How these decisions impact access to benefits, services, and long-term outcomes
-What organizations, leaders, and veterans themselves should be paying attention to right now

Whether you are a veteran, service provider, employer, or community leader, this session will give you a clearer understanding of how policy translates into practice—and where there is still work to be done.
This isn’t just an update. It’s insight into what’s shaping the future of Veteran services in Ohio.
