A reminder, if you are using the site for disposal of trees or yard waste, please be sure to put your stuff in the tree disposal area, NOT on the concrete pile. Thank you!

The Iowa DOT is gathering public comments regarding a proposed bridge replacement on US 59. Comments are being accepted now through the 3rd of August. They have sent the attached graphic that they used for the social media as well as the direct URL to the project information.

Tell us what you think about the planned bridge replacement on the US 59 bridge over US 34 in Mills County. Comment period open through August 3.

Emerson City Council may be in quorum on Saturday, July 25, 2026, for Ribbon Cutting/Donor Recognition at Sport Court Renovation & Playground Rubber Mulch Project that begins at 11:00 am in Evans Park. Also, for the time capsule opening that is scheduled for 11:30 am on the same date, also in Evans Park. No official city action to be taken.
