Emery is just a 45 minute drive from Sioux Falls, SD and a 20 minute drive from Mitchell, SD. Emery is surrounded by beautiful South Dakota agricultural and hunting land. Emery has a park facility which includes a swimming pool, baseball field, softball field, tennis court, basketball court & sand volleyball court.

The City of Emery will be chip sealing on Thursday, September 3rd. Please do not park on the blue marked streets while crews are working. Also, use caution driving in work areas as loose gravel may be present.

As another season of summer rec comes to a close we want to thank all the coaches and volunteers who made it possible for our kids to enjoy baseball and softball this summer.

Our community is blessed to have so many dedicated individuals working so hard for the kids.

Special thanks to Travis who canceled his morning plans with his family to make sure that the pool was up and running for the community this afternoon.

It will be a while until the water feature is replaced but with this fix we can continue operations.
