Did you know that skin-to-skin contact with your baby can have huge impacts on you and your baby’s health and wellness? It’s true! Skin-to-skin contact can:

• Help to comfort, calm and relax them.
• Regulate baby’s temperature, breathing and heart rate.
• Create a bond between you and your baby.
• Release the hormone oxytocin—your body’s natural feel-good chemical.
• Build your baby’s immunity to infections.
