Last year we started a process to upgrade Rescue 111's emergency lights. This year we continued the process and finished upgrading all emergency lights, scene lights and siren system. We are extremely happy with how DC Electrical Systems completed this project. There are plans on the way to start upgrades for Engine 111 emergency lights at some point in the future.

After a few days our yearly video is put together. Thank you again to everyone that came out for the 2026 Fish Fry. Everything from the Richard Crone Memorial truck and tractor pulls, Brook Zander Memorial Skillet toss, Garden tractor pulls, Wyatt Massingille Band, Gladys Wheeler Memorial Bake off, Vernon Vanguard Armored Combat group, and Cord Watkins w/ the MLE Band made it all a wonderful weekend.

Again thank you to everyone that came out this weekend to enjoy the fish fry!!! If anyone has any pictures they would like to share, please message this account with them. With everything going on from the bands, vendors, tractor pulls, truck pulls, garden tractors, Vernon Vanguard combat group, and stuff going on inside the barn I was unable to take very many pictures/videos. THATS A WRAP!!! The 2026 Fish Fry is in the books and we are extremely grateful for the support that we received this year. We have thoughts and ideas for next year and can’t wait to see everyone again!!!

The Vernon Vanguard Armored combat group is set up and about to begin their fights! Come and watch and enjoy the show!!!

Day 2 is starting with the doors opened on the barn. Fryers warmed up and some lunch orders starting. Vendors coming in and setting up. Armored combat group is arriving to set up. Bingo will start at 3pm in the lions club building. Garden tractor pulls start at 5pm and the Wyatt Massingille Band will start at 7pm. Come enjoy great weather and company today!!

Day 1 of the Fish Fry has come to a close!! Thank you to everyone that has come out and supported us!!! I want to thank everyone that has spent many hours working this event. Day 2 will start around 11am for lunch. Come and enjoy a wonderful day!!! Thank you again 11-02

The pulls continue!!! Trucks will be starting in a little bit with an additional “hot truck heading this way!!! We are running low on some items in the kitchen and will be shutting it down in a while. Come and get what you want!!!! Cord Watkins and the MLE band continue to play as well!!!!
