Two weeks ago, one of our own EMT's, Tara Apgar, had the opportunity to participate in a public relations and educational event at Bethlehem Area Vocational-Technical School (BAVTS), where students received a hands-on learning experience with emergency medical services.

A special thank you to Captain Michael Leaser for coordinating the visit and allowing our ambulance to be part of the day's activities. Captain Leaser shared that he thoroughly enjoyed the experience, and the students expressed their appreciation for the opportunity to explore the ambulance firsthand.

Throughout the event, students learned about EMS operations, equipment, and patient care while participating in realistic scenarios that allowed them to apply what they learned in a practical setting. It was rewarding to see such enthusiasm and engagement from the next generation of healthcare and public safety professionals.

Thank you to the staff and students at BAVTS for welcoming us. We look forward to continuing to support educational opportunities that inspire and prepare future first responders.

Great job, Tara! πŸš‘

This morning, our providers were honored at the Lehigh Valley Flemming Neuroscience Stroke Symposium for their exceptional care of a stroke patient, receiving the prestigious β€œGolden Brain Award.”

This recognition exemplifies the high-quality and clinically excellent care our providers deliver to patients every day. More importantly, this case serves as a powerful reminder that early recognition of stroke symptoms, immediate activation of the 911 system, and exceptional prehospital and hospital care can truly change outcomes.

We are incredibly proud of our team for their commitment to excellence in patient care. Congratulations to the crew on this well-deserved recognition and thank you for making a difference in the lives of those we serve.

How is everyone doing today in the Borough?!
We wanted to share that our Deputy Director and Ambulance Chief, Adam Priest, provided a comprehensive heat-related emergency presentation πŸ₯΅ to the Emmaus Public Works crew this morning; ensuring our team is equipped with the knowledge to work safely. They work very hard and we were very happy to have them here. :)

Good morning, everyone!

Summer is coming, shortly. πŸŒžπŸ€Έβ€β™€οΈπŸ›β›ΉοΈπŸš£πŸš΄β€β™€οΈ

An ambulance subscription provides crucial financial protection against the high costs of emergency transport, especially during summer when heat stroke and outdoor injury risks rise. This service ensures peace of mind by covering potential out-of-network costs. The Emmaus Ambulance Subscription serves the local area, offering coverage for emergency transports, discounts on non-emergency trips, and assistance with insurance gaps.
