Hi y’all! My name is Emma Miller & which most of you guys probably know me. I am about to start my Senior year at Kansas State University where I am majoring in Agricultural Communications & Journalism.

Hint, the photography & blog page. 😉

I have fallen in love with taking photos & working on my blog. My photography has been generally photos on the farm & agriculture related as that is my passion, but all of this is a stepping stone for me & my future in the communications & journalism field.

I am just learning the basics now, but experience is key for me when learning. If anyone is interested in some sessions to help me develop my skills as a photographer, I’d be more than happy! 🤗

Join our hard-working vendors at the NLC Community Building (old school) in Allen for an indoor shopping experience, Thursday from 4:30-6:30pm!

Our vendors will have peppernuts, fresh baked breads, cookies and sweets, local honey, fresh apple cider, granola, jellies, jewelry, holiday decor, unique gifts and MORE waiting for you!

Join us Saturday, December 5 & 19 from 10am-noon at Waters Hardware for our indoor markets. This is a great time to stock up on honey, jellies, fresh baked breads, quality meat cuts, farm fresh eggs, winter produce (think greens, radishes, and mushrooms!), sweet treats for holiday gatherings, unique gifts and one of a kind items!

The Allen Farmers Market will host an indoor holiday market from 4:30-6:30pm on Thursday, December 10 at the NLC Community Building. New vendors, great selection, sweet treats, baked goods, and unique gifts all waiting for you!

We can’t wait to serve you lunch at our annual Soup-a-Palooza fundraiser! We’ve been hard at work preparing three amazing soups for our new drive-thru format. Let’s see what’s on the menu:

Sausage potato (GF)
Our signature homemade soup featuring a creamy base, local ground sausage, potatoes, carrots, onions, and celery. Hearty and full of flavor!

Creamy Tomato (Vegetarian)
Another classic market recipe featuring flavorful homegrown canned tomatoes in a creamy broth seasoned with herbs and spices. A spoonful of summer in every bite! Even if you’re not a tomato soup fan, I promise you’ll love this recipe!

Chicken Tortellini
Our new recipe featuring shredded chicken, lots of veggies, local kale, and cheese-filled tortellini pasta in a clear broth with herbs and seasoning. Low fat and delicious!

We’re serving from 11-4 at the Bowyer Building—please follow signs to enter on the west side of the building! Tickets are $8, suggested donation, for a to-go pint of soup, homemade dessert, and a chance to win one of our awesome gift baskets! We hope to see you!
