On behalf of the Emporium Fire Department I would like to say THANK YOU to the following departments for the quick response to the structure fire on Hemlock Street in the Borough.

Crystal Fire Department- St. Mary’s
Star Hose Company- Port Allegany
Austin Fire Department- Austin
Norwich Township- Crosby
Cameron County Ambulance Service- Emporium
Elkland Search and Rescue- St.Marys

I’d also like to say how appreciative we are for the Community and Businesses that donated food and water for the Responders and a huge shoutout to the dispatchers at ELK COUNTY CONTROL for a superb job!

Also, to the Community that has pulled together & helping with donations, support, etc. to the Families that were affected by this fire, you are all wonderful as well! This community & the surrounding communities amaze me with the amount of support that is pulled together when a tragedy affects our areas!

Truck committee made the trip out to Sioux Falls South Dakota for final inspection of our new engine. Alot of hard work by dedicated people has paid off at no expense to the tax payers.
