🚧 Your street might be getting a glow-up. 🚧

Roadway improvements are coming to Encinitas beginning June 1 as part of the City's FY 2025–26 Pavement Rehabilitation Project.

Over the next several weeks, crews will be completing ADA curb ramp upgrades, asphalt repairs, and other roadway improvements in neighborhoods throughout the city.

🚧 What to Expect:
• Temporary lane closures and traffic delays (7:30am – 5pm)
• Intermittent driveway access restrictions
• Construction noise during working hours
• Temporary "No Parking" zones in active work areas

Residents in affected areas will receive advance notice before work begins.

We appreciate your patience as we invest in safer, smoother, and more accessible streets throughout Encinitas.

City Staff and the Executive Director of the Leucadia 101 Main Street Association stopped by The Leucadian Bar, a long-time neighborhood favorite! 🍻

Beyond being a beloved watering hole and private event space, The Leucadian gives back through donations, staff time, and a genuine commitment to the community. City Staff and the Executive Director of the Encinitas 101 Main Street Association stopped by 7-Eleven in Downtown Encinitas! 🏪

With 20+ years in the community, this location has strong local roots. The owner, an Encinitas native, also runs the Cardiff location and takes pride in knowing his customers by name and supporting his staff. During the visit, staff learned how music and art can help deter crime, and we're looking forward to collaborating on future downtown initiatives!
