Today, APWA San Diego/Imperial Counties Chapter recognized our project as a 2026 Project of the Year! We used new imagery and surveying technology to determine that the pipeline had reached the end of its useful life. If left unaddressed, an emergency break of this pipeline could have wasted millions of gallons of drinking water and caused roadway damage. The replacement project was in a high-traffic corridor between City of Encinitas and City of Carlsbad that includes two schools.
