Due to the on going interstate construction, the southbound on ramp and off ramp of I-39 at milemarker 100 (Endeavor) will be closed on June 8th and 9th.

It is National EMS week! We would like to recognize EMS services everywhere for their continued service, especially our partners at Marquette County EMS.

In the Village of Endeavor and the Town of Moundville, when you are having a medical emergency, the primary paramedic level ambulance responds from the Unit 81 station located near I-39 and State Road 82, in addition to that ambulance, the EMFD responds with a fire engine equipped with basic life saving EMS equipment and trained staff. All EMFD members are trained in First Aid and CPR but a number of the EMFD members hold varying levels of EMS license.

As Endeavor Elementary prepares to close their doors next week for the final time, the EMFD looks back at all the great times spent supporting the students and staff.

The EMFD has always taken pride in conducting fire prevention, attending community events, and helping to prepare for emergencies that may occur at the school.

The school may be closing but we will continue to support our community’s youth in whatever ways we can.

Last Monday night the Firefighters of the Endeavor/Moundville Fire Department had some fun brushing up on their extrication skills and peeled open a classic Buick like a can of beans.
