Help Tell America's Story for America250!

As our nation approaches the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, you can help preserve the stories that shaped our country. Join us for a special Tech Center class exploring the Library of Congress's crowdsourcing program, where volunteers work together to transcribe historical letters, diaries, military records, and other documents from America's past.

By helping make these records searchable and accessible, you'll be contributing to the preservation of our shared history and helping future generations discover the people and events that built our nation.

Hello, Film Fans! This is your devoted Curator of the Classic Film Club, William D. Ferry, the Classic Movie Man, with an important announcement.

The George F. Johnson Memorial Public Library has an abundance of fun programs for the entire family this summer. In order to accommodate the waiting throngs, the Classic Film Club will operate under a revised schedule for July and August.

Please be sure to join us every THURSDAY at 5-7PM. In September we'll return to our "afternoon matinee" schedule of 2-4PM.
