Good afternoon! Here are updates for the month of January, with new information indicated in yellow.
(NEW) Board of Education Meetings – There will be a Board of Education meeting at LWW on Monday, January 12 at 7:00 pm, and a board meeting at JFS on Monday, January 26 at 7:00 p.m. Zoom will continue to be an option for viewing purposes only.
(NEW) “No School for Students” Reminders for December/January –There is no school on Monday, December 22 – Friday, January 2 for Winter Recess. School will resume on Monday, January 5, 2026. There is no school on Monday, January 19 for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Administrative Position Changes - Please note the following administrative changes for the upcoming school year. Congratulations!

(NEW) Capital Project Referendum – Thank you for your approval of the 2025 Capital Project. Your endorsement reflects our shared commitment to strengthening instructional spaces, addressing infrastructure needs, and enhancing safety across the district. This investment will help us to continue providing an enriching learning environment for U-E students, staff, and the entire community.
U-E Snowball Dance – The Snowball Dance, for all U-E students in grades 9-12, has been scheduled for Saturday, January 17. This dance will be at the high school.
(NEW) Athletic Hall of Fame Induction – Save the date: The induction ceremony will be on Saturday, January 31 in between the JV and Varsity basketball game, with Varsity scheduled to start at 1:45 p.m.
(NEW) SNOW DAYS – We have 5 snow days remaining this school year.
(NEW) UEHS and Tiger Ventures January Regents Exams –
UEHS: There is no school for UEHS students on Tuesday, January 20, Wednesday, January 21, and Thursday, January 22 for Regents exams. The only students who will need to attend school are those taking January Regents Exams. The high school team will provide an exam schedule for students. School will resume for all UEHS students on Friday, January 23.
Tiger Ventures: There is no school for Tiger Ventures students in grades 9-12 on Tuesday, January 20 and Wednesday, January 21 for Regents exams. The only high school Tiger Ventures students who will need to attend school are those taking January Regents Exams. The Tiger Ventures team will provide an exam schedule for high school students. School will resume for all high school Tiger Ventures students on Thursday, January 22. Please note - school will be in session all week for Tiger Ventures students in grade eight.
U-E Prom – The senior prom will be held on Saturday, June 20 at the Holiday Inn Binghamton. This year’s prom will start at 8:00 p.m.
U-E Graduation – The U-E Graduation will be held on Saturday, June 27 at the Arena. This year’s graduation will start at 11:00 a.m.
Family Support Center Food Bank – The U-E Family Support Center, located inside the District Office Building, will be open for food distribution on Wednesdays at 5:00-6:30 p.m. and Fridays at 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. If you need assistance, please call 607-757-2501.
(NEW) West Corners Food Pantry – The newly-opened West Corners Food Pantry, located inside Tiger Ventures/LWW School, will be open for food distribution on Thursdays at 5:30-6:30 p.m. If you need assistance, please call 607-757-2501.
Conflict Reporting System- As a reminder, there is a conflict reporting system on the webpage of each school building. It is available to students, staff and families to report conflicts and other issues that can arise between students: Sprigeo - Report School Safety Threats and Bullying
