Today, the Endicott Police Department joined our community in honoring the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation.

We are grateful to everyone who attended the Memorial Day Parade and memorial service, helping to ensure the sacrifices of our fallen heroes are never forgotten. It was a meaningful day of remembrance, reflection, and community pride.

The Endicott Police Department extends our appreciation to the veterans, organizers, public safety personnel, and residents who participated in today’s events.

As we remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice, we also thank all who continue to serve and protect our communities and our country.

Join us in congratulating Detective Matthew Brubaker on his upcoming retirement!

Detective Brubaker has honorably served Endicott since January 2006. In his two-decade career, he’s held rank as a patrol officer, sergeant, and detective. He will officially call it a career on May 28.

To clarify:
This incident occurred outside the Village of Endicott and is being investigated by the New York State Police.
According to available information, this was a robbery and did not involve a group of teenagers or any known social media trend.
At this time, there is no known threat involving local schools or students.

Tonight marks a proud milestone for the Village of Endicott.

Left to right. Chief Pat Garey, Police Officer Colin Kintner, Police Officer Kole Schmerder, Lt Dale Lane.

We are pleased to announce that Officers Kintner and Schmerder have officially graduated from Session 49 of the Southern Tier Law Enforcement Academy in Corning. After months of rigorous training and dedication, both officers are now riding solo and serving our community on their own.

This achievement reflects their hard work, commitment, and readiness to protect and serve the residents of Endicott. We thank them for their dedication and congratulate them on this important step in their careers.

Please join us in welcoming and supporting Officers Kintner and Schmerder as they begin this next chapter in service to our community.
