Blue and gold looks great on our new teachers and staff!

Today marks the final day of our week-long New Teacher Orientation, featuring trainings, professional development, team-building, and plenty of opportunities to get to know our Spartan community.

🎣 Big congratulations to three Spartans who made quite a catch this summer!

Maine-Endwell students Cazimir Bogdan (9th Grade), Peyton Earl (9th Grade), and Isabella Earl (6th Grade) recently competed in the 23rd Annual St. Lawrence International Junior Carp Tournament, joining young anglers from across the region for three days of fishing along the St. Lawrence River.

The tournament brought together 115 young anglers, who safely caught, weighed and released 234 carp totaling more than 3,700 pounds! 🐟

Individually, Isabella placed 2nd in her age group. The team placed 4th, catching 277 pounds.

We’re proud to celebrate their hard work, sportsmanship and success!

These students, along with their coach, Stelian Bogdan would love to get more Spartans involved in the sport. Next year's St. Lawrence International Junior Carp Tournament tournament is expected to take place at some point between the end of July and beginning of August.

Day 3 of New Teacher Orientation is all about strengthening instruction! 📚

Barb Phillips, along with our instructional coaches Bridget Wilson and Alison Casterline, led professional learning focused on effective instructional practices and strategies that will help our newest Spartans hit the ground running. We’re excited to welcome these educators to M-E and invest in their success from day one!
