Good Morning, Wildcat Community!

It’s going to be a GREAT day at IESA! Our building feels great, and our scholars and staff are ready for another amazing day of teaching and learning.

A huge Wildcat shout-out to Mr. Ferguson and our Maintenance Team for responding quickly and coming to our aid. We truly appreciate your support!

The temperature outside is currently 82°F, while the median temperature inside our building is a comfortable 72°F. The image below shows the current temperatures in our classrooms.

Our Wildcats are comfortable, learning, and ready for an AMAZING day!

CELEBRATING OUR WILDCAT GROWTH!

At Inborden Elementary STEAM Academy, our story is one of growth, perseverance, and EXCELLENCE!
📈 Look how far we’ve come!

⭐ 2022–2023: F — GLP: 30.5%
⭐ 2023–2024: D — GLP: 33.1%
⭐ 2024–2025: C — GLP: 48.1%
⭐ 2025–2026: C — GLP: 49.60%

From an F to a C, our Wildcats continue to show that when scholars, families, teachers, staff, and our entire school community work together, GROWTH HAPPENS!

Every percentage point represents scholars learning, teachers pushing forward, families supporting, and a school community refusing to give up. We are proud of where we started, proud of how far we have come, and even more excited about where we are going next!

This is not the finish line, we are moving FORWARD!

Parents, please take a few minutes each day to help your scholar learn and practice their lunch number! 🍎🥪
Knowing their lunch number helps our scholars become more independent and makes lunchtime run more smoothly. The more they practice at home, the more confident they will become at school!

👉 Practice, practice, practice! Have your scholar say and/or write their lunch number each day until they know it by heart.

🚌🚨 Safety First at Inborden Elementary S.T.E.A.M Academy! 🚨🚌

Today, our Wildcats participated in a School Bus Evacuation Drill! 🐾❤️💛

Our scholars practiced how to safely and quickly evacuate from the back of the school bus in case of a real emergency. This important drill helps ensure that our students know what to do, where to go, and how to remain calm during an emergency situation.

A huge shout-out to our scholars and staff for taking this drill seriously and demonstrating great teamwork! 👏🏽

What a wonderful way to kick off a brand-new school year at Inborden Elementary S.T.E.A.M. Academy! 💛🤍❤️
From those first steps through our doors, to smiles and greetings in the hallways, our Wildcats were ready to LEARN, GROW, and SHINE! 🌟📚
Today was filled with: 👋🏽 Excited greetings and warm welcomes!

😊 Smiles and connections with our amazing staff
🍎 Lunchroom conversations and new memories
❤️ Parents helping us start the year strong
🏫 And a special visit from our Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent, who came to welcome and encourage our scholars and staff!

There is truly something special about the first day of school—the excitement, the nervous smiles, the reunions, and the feeling that new possibilities are ahead! ✨
