Good morning PELA Families! 💙🦅

Today, our students in grades 3–5 will take the Math EOG retest, and we are excited for them to continue showing all they have learned this year! Please remember that parental consent is required before any retest can be administered.

We are ending the week strong because our 5th grade students will take their Science EOG retest on May 29th! We are proud of the hard work, determination, and perseverance our Eagles have shown throughout testing season.

And today is EXTRA special as we celebrate our Kindergarten Eagles during their Kindergarten Ceremony at 1:30 PM here at PELA! 🎉 We cannot wait to recognize our youngest learners and celebrate all of their growth and accomplishments this school year.

Also, tonight Dr. Cunningham will be speaking at our Parent Meeting beginning at 5:00 PM. We encourage all families to attend and be a part of this important opportunity to connect, receive updates, and support our school community.

Today, Wednesday, May 27th, selected third grade students will take the Read to Achieve EOG assessment, and any eligible students in fourth and fifth grade will take the ELA Reading retest.

Parental consent is required before administrating any retest.

Thursday's schedule will include Math retesting for eligible third, fourth, and fifth grade students on May 28th.

Friday, May 29th, is Science retest day for eligible fifth grade students.

We're proud to have achieved 100% attendance for our ELA and Math EOGs last week, and we're eager to build on that success tomorrow with our 5th grade Science EOG! Let's seize this opportunity to demonstrate our skills and showcase our knowledge.

Due to the recent WiFi outage and the additional administration needed for the Math EOG last Friday, we have had to make adjustments to several upcoming events.

School is closed tomorrow (5/25/26) in observance of Memorial Day. School resumes on Tuesday, May 26. Fifth grade students will take their Science EOGs.
