The governor has activated the Extreme Hot Weather Protocol, effective now through 6:00pm on Sunday, June 14th. As we know, the heat can be just as deadly as the cold. Please spread the word about this heat wave and encourage folks to seek out one of the cooling locations below and hydrate.

Remember to hydrate and check on your neighbors. Also keep portable devices charged as this heat can produce storms and power outages. Stay safe and we are always here if you need us!

Enfield EMS is proud to be among the few organizations in the country offering this life saving treatment. Since beginning this program in November 2024, Enfield EMS has administered whole blood many times with great results for the patients.

A life saving program at Saint Francis hospital is putting blood into the hands of first responders before patients even get to the hospital.

Last week was the National EMS Memorial Bike Ride. The East Coast portion takes place from Boston to Washington D.C. Enfield EMS Lieutenant Dave Foote has proudly participated in this event multiple times, including this year. Well done LT!

Enfield EMS welcomed an instructor from The American Red Cross to teach our supervisors a new program about neonatal advanced life support and resuscitation. This is a great program that we plan to rollout to the rest of our team in order to better serve our community.
