SUN Foundation In 2014 Developmental Pathways established the SUN Foundation during its 50th-year Anniversary, in an effort to raise funds and better "Serve Unmet Needs".

The SUN Foundation is dedicated to "Serving the Unmet Needs" in our community. We aim to provide long-term solutions these individuals needing support now.

Established in 2013, The SUN Foundation provides essential support for Developmental Pathways. Developmental Pathways is a Colorado non-profit agency responsible for assessing services needs and developing plans for individuals with intellectual disabilities in Arapahoe and Douglas Counties and the city of Aurora. Throughout the past 50 years, this has been the fastest growing area in the State of Colorado. Services are delivered through Colorado's Home and Community-Based Services Medicaid waiver programs, as well as other state-funded programs, but these services only sustain a portion of families caring for a loved one with an intellectual disability or developmental delay. Thousands of individuals and families in our community still receive little to no support.
