We are excited to announce our newest project: updating and improving our children’s church and children’s room to better serve kids ages 3–9 in a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment.

Our vision is to create a space where children can learn, play, and grow while their families receive support and resources. The updated area will include children’s church activities, supervised play opportunities, and equipment that encourages healthy development, including a slide, sensory play features, and other age-appropriate resources.

We're also replacing older toys with larger, safer, and more durable materials that support creative, structured, and developmentally appropriate play.

💙 Project Goal: $4,000

This month, we were honored to welcome Rotary Club of Englewood Colorado to Movement 5280 as part of Rotary’s global EPIC Day of Service!

Their team spent time serving our community by organizing our art room and preparing a meal for those we serve. We are so grateful for their partnership, generosity, and heart to make a difference right here in our community.

For many in our community, mental health challenges and housing instability are deeply connected. A moment of support, a conversation, or access to the right resources can make all the difference.

One of our friends came to us carrying more than most people could imagine: grief, uncertainty, and the weight of trying to keep moving forward for their family.

Through strength, support, and the right resources, they were able to secure stable housing in just 45 days!

Stories like this remind us how critical timely help can be, and how much is possible when a community shows up.

Did you know the DMV can come to you?

In the last month, the mobile DMV visited Movement 5280, bringing IDs and essential services directly to people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. A valid ID opens doors to shelter, jobs, healthcare, and stability, making this visit a huge step toward helping our community thrive.
