We are heartbroken to share that we have lost another precious friend 💔

Pat was kind to everyone she met and always willing to share her beautiful smile. She had a warm and inviting spirit about her that made anyone feel welcome and at ease. We feel so fortunate to have celebrated two birthdays with Pat and to have had the opportunity to witness the love between her and Don, her devoted husband of 65 years. In fact, this picture was taken the first time she sat in "her chair", a recliner we specifically placed by the window so she could be comfortable while waiting for her hubby, as she called him 🥹

We love you Pat, and we will miss you deeply.

Brukner Nature Center never disappoints! The topic this time was "Changes in the Land" and covered the many ways nature has changed throughout Ohio's history. Our speaker was very educated and engaging, as always!

We got to see several interesting specimens including a black bear pelt, barred owl skull, and empty box turtle shell. Then, the best part, we got to meet a live screech owl and box turtle! Thank you, Brukner!

Baby Carter came to see mommy at work today and made everyone's day! How can you be in a bad mood with a happy baby around? Thank you to his mommy, Maddie, and grandma, Angie, for sharing him with us!

Visit Abbey and support a good cause! This event directly benefits the Backpack Food Friends program, which provides weekend meals to local students experiencing food insecurity. Each participating business is bringing at least 10 donations and guests are invited to donate as well, though no donation is required to attend! Each booth will have some sort of fun, FREE activity for the community and there will be 2 awesome food trucks outside. Come on out and !

What a fun Friday at Engaging Days!

🎂 First we celebrated with our Little Buddy, Raffy! Raffy (and her mom) have been volunteering through our Little Buddies program since Raffy was 3. Now she is a whole 🖐 old! Happy Birthday, Raffy!

🌳 Next we enjoyed the sunshine at Centennial Park Englewood Ohio. The breeze coming off the pond was so refreshing 🍃

🎶 We finished off our great day with a Happy Hour performance by Vaughn and Doug. This was their first time playing at Engaging Days and we will definitely have them back! Thanks, guys!
