We celebrated Juneteenth today with our 5th Annual Kids Nature Walk! Kids and their families went for a hike through the Flat Rock forest, did stretches with Greg from YourBestHour, learned about nutrition and were treated to healthy snacks from the Shirvan Family Live Well Center and got to meet our rescue raptor Tilly!

Thanks to everyone who attended and helped put this event together!

Nature is medicine. Come for a walk tonight at 6:30! We will be exploring the flora and fauna of Flat Rock with a Healing Hike. Leave your worries at the trail head and join us for a free guided hike with one of our naturalists! Meet at the Nature Center 443 Van Nostrand Avenue, Englewood NJ.

Healing Hikes are brought to you by Flat Rock Brook and the YWCA of Northern New Jersey with generous support from the Community Chest.

*This is our wonderful sunset hikes crew this past Tuesday. Sunset Hikes every Tuesday at 6:30. Our trail guides have been running these free hikes for over 20 years!
