🤝 We are partnering with Lucky Bikes "Earn-a-Bike" program for our GT Summer School program!

🚲 This includes a 10-hour STEM-based curriculum, physical-based learning, and safe cycling education designed to teach students about bikes and their maintenance. Once completed, students will walk away with not only their own bike but also a helmet, toolkit, and lock!

🔧 The idea for this course is for students to identify bike parts and how to put them together, so if their bikes break down, they will know how to fix them down the road.



🤝 ¡Nos hemos asociado con el programa "Earn-a-Bike" de Lucky Bikes para nuestro programa de escuela de verano GT!

🚲 Esto incluye un plan de estudios de 10 horas basado en STEM, aprendizaje mediante actividad física y educación sobre seguridad vial para ciclistas, diseñado para enseñar a los estudiantes sobre las bicicletas y su mantenimiento. Al finalizar, los alumnos no solo se llevarán su propia bicicleta, sino también un casco, un kit de herramientas y un candado.

🔧 El objetivo de este curso es que los estudiantes identifiquen las piezas de la bicicleta y aprendan a ensamblarlas; así, si la bicicleta sufre una avería en el futuro, sabrán cómo repararla.

🙌 That's a wrap! Our district ended the school year with some incredible events.

📸 There were picture-perfect moments for Alice Terry Elementary School's field day and art show, Fort Logan Northgate's fifth and eighth grade continuation ceremonies.

🎓 Including Sheridan High School and SOAR Academy senior award recognitions, the yearly tradition of the graduation walk, and of course, graduation!!

💙 It was a great week we had full of celebrations, we are incredibly proud of all our students and their amazing accomplishments this school year!



🙌 ¡Y así cerramos! Nuestro distrito concluyó el año escolar con unos eventos increíbles.

📸 Hubo momentos dignos de una postal durante el día de campo y la exposición de arte de la Escuela Primaria Alice Terry, así como en las ceremonias de continuación de quinto y octavo grado de Fort Logan Northgate.

🎓 Esto incluyó los reconocimientos a los estudiantes de último año de Sheridan High School y SOAR Academy, la tradición anual de la caminata de ggraduación y, por supuesto, ¡¡la graduación!!

Dear Sheridan Families and Staff,

Due to inclement weather and forecasted snowfall, all schools will be closed on Wednesday, May 6th, 2026.

All classes, activities, and events scheduled for May 6th are canceled. Please stay safe, avoid unnecessary travel, and take precautions during winter weather.

We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as needed.

🙌 Over the summer, Sheridan students started at CU Boulder over the summer for training and to complete the Inspire Senior Seminar.

🎓 Today, they celebrate their journey and achievements by receiving their Inspire stoles.

💵 Two of our students, Kylee Koffman and Emario (Bobby) Garcia, received the Inspire Chicano Pride Run Scholarship!

❗️For any students interested in Inspire, they can go to CSU Fort Collins and recieve $16,500 towards their education!



🙌 Durante el verano, los estudiantes de Sheridan comenzaron su estancia en CU Boulder para recibir capacitación y completar el Seminario para Estudiantes de Último Año Inspire.

🎓 Hoy, celebran su trayectoria y sus logros al recibir sus estolas Inspire.
