What a blast that was!

This year's Crawford County Back to School Bash was the biggest one yet! Looking at the numbers, we believe between 400–500 youth attended alone... WOW!

None of this would have been possible without the incredible support and partnership of the many businesses, churches, organizations, and volunteers who came together to make this event a success. That's exactly why our Back to School Bash motto is:
"Partnering to Support Our Youth!"

The Crawford County Back to School Bash 2026 is almost here, and we can't wait to see everyone!

This year, we're excited to partner with the Boys & Girls Club of Crawford County and the Charlie McDaniel Youth Adventure Camp to make this our biggest and best Back to School Bash yet!

This is a FREE event for local youth & families!

Come out and enjoy an evening of community, fun, and resources, including:
- Backpacks & school supplies
- Food
- Bottled water
- Games & activities
- Community resources
- much more!

A huge thank you to all of our partners, volunteers, businesses, organizations, and sponsors who have helped make this event possible. Your generosity helps ensure local students have the tools they need for a successful school year.

We look forward to seeing families from across Crawford County come together for an evening of fun, fellowship, and support as we help our youth start the school year off right.

Happy 4th of July from the Crawford County Sheriff's Department!

As we celebrate 250 years of American freedom and independence, we hope everyone has a safe, fun, and memorable Fourth of July weekend with family and friends.

Fireworks, cookouts, parades, and celebrations are all part of what makes this holiday special. While we want everyone to enjoy the festivities, we also ask that you remember to use 911 appropriately so dispatchers and first responders can remain available for true emergencies.

Call 911 if:
✅ Someone has a medical emergency.
✅ A fire has started.
✅ A crime is in progress.
✅ Someone's life or property is in immediate danger.

Please don't call 911 because:
❌ Your neighbor is setting off legal fireworks. ❌ Fireworks debris landed in your yard.
❌ Your pets are scared or hiding.
❌ Someone is celebrating a little louder than you'd like.

Every unnecessary 911 call ties up dispatchers and emergency responders who may be needed for someone facing a life-threatening situation.

Let's work together to keep Crawford County safe while celebrating this historic milestone.
