June highlights include:
🇺🇸 Haddonfield Skirmish
📍 Indian King Tavern
🗓️ Saturday, June 6 at 10 a.m.
Description: The Redcoats will invade Haddonfield and be challenged by Continental troops, just as they did 250 years ago — in June 1778. The day’s events include activities such as a yelling contest, colonial dancing, pillory prisoners, tours of Indian King Tavern and character reenactors. Plus, soldier reenactors will be available to meet visitors before and after the Skirmish. Redcoats will charge, muskets will be fired and the Continentals will try to stop the British before they head off to the Battle at Monmouth. 🇺🇸 Meet Francis Hopkinson & The Story of the American Flag
📍 Washington Crossing State Park, Visitor Center
🗓️ Sunday, June 14 at 1 p.m.
Description: Stanley Saperstein will perform a presentation as Francis Hopkinson, New Jersey Signer of the Declaration of Independence. 🇺🇸 Annual Reenactment of the Battle of Monmouth
📍 Monmouth Battlefield State Park, Visitor Center
🗓️ Saturday and Sunday, June 20 & 21 at 9 a.m.
Description: Bring your family for the annual reenactment of the Battle of Monmouth, held in commemoration of the anniversary of the battle on June 28, 1778. Troops encamp at the park and recreate scenarios of the battle over the weekend. There are also numerous presentations and lectures, tours of the camps, and sutler area open to the public. 🇺🇸 "Revolutionary Batsto” Walking Tours of Batsto Village
📍Wharton State Forest, Batsto Visitor Center
🗓️ Saturday and Sunday, June 27 & 28 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Description: Celebrate 2026 and start your spring by exploring Batsto Village and learning about its 18th and 19th century history! These all-ages tours begin behind the Batsto Visitor Center, with planned stops throughout the village. Sharing stories from Batsto’s iron era to the present, interpreters will lead visitors through the various ways in which Batsto participated in the American Revolution, Industrial Revolution and more.
