After 124 years of faithful Christian ministry, this church building was deconsecrated and the church disbanded on October 5, 2019. A glorious Leave-Taking worship service was held on that day followed by a lovingly prepared chicken noodle dinner & reflection on what this church has meant to all of us.

A church closed in Enid yesterday, reducing the number of houses of worship in this staunch Bible-belt town by one.

One hundred and twenty-four years of church history will come to a close Saturday, as Bethany United Methodist Church closes its doors one last time.
