The ice bill passed through reconciliation, which means it only needs a simple majority. What this means is Ice will receive another $70 billion to harass democracy. They can continue to break into homes, pull people out of cars wear their masks, not have body cams, and possibly shoot people on the streets. I believe we should prepare ourselves for the midterms and their presence at the largest voting booths. January 6 was not pretty and midterm voting may not be either. As we well know, he will do anything to try to stay powerful.

I went and met Realtors in Stillwater then I did a buzz around town. Love the town and plan to start going more. I graduated from OSU and started my 1st biz there. It was tough, really tough but in a couple of years it finally took off. I opened more than a half dozen businesses in Ok. I’m a fighter AND I will fight for you!

I had a donor point out to me that win or lose my voice was important. Yesterday I was in discussion with a group of people and a few we’re not operating on facts. There was a woman there that was red to the deepest part of her bone marrow and hated dems. I was glad she was there because hopefully I got her to think about some things. It’s OK to be aligned with a party, but I don’t think it’s OK to spout information that’s not true. There was a younger person in the group that fact checked her and told her it wasn’t true.  If anything I told these people to fact check their information because it was easy to do. I know we all get caught up in something that promotes our belief and we find out it might not be accurate. It’s happened to me and I’m sure it’s happened to everyone at one point or another. As a journalist, I feel the last 10 years or so we’ve been caught up in this chaos of misinformation, and it doesn’t do any of us any good regardless of where it comes from. I listened to podcast recently on a man that I didn’t support mainly because of his billionaire status. I listen to him talk and I listen to what his thoughts were and the things that he supported and what he was doing with his money and I think I changed my mind about him. It doesn’t matter. I’m not in his state, but it reinforced to me, you don’t know till you do your research. I am hoping Oklahomas are not taking this unbelievable amount of crazy advertising on our candidates and believing any of it. Do your research, educate yourself and try to do what is best in a state that needs to change.

So, Trump decided he was wronged because someone in the IRS during his presidency leaked information about his taxes. There was a time that presidents automatically released their tax information, but not him because it’s all part of his con. So, his DOJ is going to take aim at the IRS. It appeared that a judge was going to call it nonsense and dismiss the case and that’s when they came up with this unbelievable settlement. He gets $10 billion in a slush fund that will never be audited that will never be examined by the public although this is our tax money and he will never be held accountable for it and what he does with it. What kind of president does this? A grifter. And the sad thing about it is most of our Congress people have not said a damn word about it . I thought people would be enraged and would show up to complain. I had a meeting shortly after this was announced and not many people came. A young man in the audience said I think people are just exhausted by it all and feel completely hopeless. This is not the way we should feel before an election . We need to change, we need to rotate the crops. What would it hurt because how could it get worse.

A friend from Church once sent me this plaque that said when life looks like it’s falling apart and maybe just falling into place. I hope that it’s where we are. It is time for change and we all know it. We all need to search both our intelligence and our heart and vote. What is best for America. I think what is best is positive change new people and new ideas whether it is the Democrat party or the Republican it’s time for New and both people who are not trying to hold onto their status or their job and who are afraid to speak up for what is right and wrong I had a voter tell me we know the difference we all know the difference it makes me sick that we are not acting up upon it.
