I want to start off by saying that I won’t be able to begin to do her justice in this little paragraph for all the things she does for me and for The CARE Campus. She is my executive assistant and I hope I can keep saying that for as long as I’m here. I wouldn’t want to do this with anyone else. She takes care of all of us with anything we need and masterfully succeeds at accomplishing all of her own duties at the highest level. I try to tell her and the rest of my staff thank you often but I know it’s not often enough for how amazing they are. She is very kind, thoughtful, and extremely intelligent. She is dependable, so trustworthy, and loyal. I wish I could reward her and my staff more because they are worth far more than a non-profit could ever pay them. I consider her a partner and it’s scary how much we think alike! I love our work relationship and really hope she knows how much I appreciate her! Thank you Kendra for everything! You are the best and I’m glad you are here! I hope you have the best administrative assistant day ever!

Well the wooden children are out on the courthouse lawns of every county in the Fourth Judicial District CASA Program's service area again! That is the name of our CASA program. In case you don't know The CARE Campus is what our organization does business as, but we have two programs here. We have a Child Advocacy Center and a CASA Program. We cover six counties with our CASA program and they are Garfield, Kingfisher, Blaine, Major, Woodward, and Grant counties. The wooden child project is a MASSIVE undertaking, but the staff here always rises to the occasion! This is an awareness project and a fundraiser for our general operations. We would not be able to do what we do without successful fundraisers and I am pleased to report that this year's wooden child project was a success! Thank you to Shelia McHenry, TaShanna Armstrong, Riley Miller, Kendra O'Hern, and Tammie Hamen Prince for the sweat and the tears that you put into this project! It would not be possible without these ladies. They are the best of the best anywhere and this organization is blessed to have each one of them! Thank you to all of the board members and volunteers that helped us out with different tasks! Your help makes it so much easier to accomplish! It truly takes a village and we have the greatest village right here in Garfield County!
