Sometimes life is pulling overtime at your day job. Other times its accidentally crashing a wedding rehearsal in the beer garden, being pulled out of bed at 10:30pm to walk to the bar and play pool, a girls evening at an alpine lake to cool off from our first 90-degree day, and getting blisters .5 miles into your 9 mile- turned 12 mile hike (6 up and 6 down)- while also enduring the last 2 miles up to the lake being sporadically covered in thigh-deep packed snow, all out of sheer determination to catch alpine cutties and brook trout…just for the lake to still be frozen.😭😂
We may not have caught fish but we did get to see a Pine Martin! A pretty rare little critter to get a glimpse of.
