Please help us congratulate Officer Priscilla Ellington for being voted Ennis ISD Police Department’s Officer of the Year!
Officer Ellington has consistently shown professionalism and dedication to the students and staff of Ennis ISD. Officer Ellington is a go-getter who is always willing to lend a helping hand and assist where needed.
Congratulations, Officer Ellington!

We would also like to share a couple of exciting changes within the department!

Lizzy Gentry has transitioned into a new role as Investigator for the department! Investigator Gentry has always had a passion for investigations and this move will allow her to continue that path full time. Investigator Gentry brings in a wealth of knowledge and will continue to be a great asset in her new role. She has been with EISD PD for 15 years and looks forward to many more!

Additionally, please help us congratulate Sergeant Matthew Blair as he transitions from Police Officer to Sergeant.
Sergeant Blair will also continue to serve as the K9 Officer for EISD PD. Sergeant Blair has been with the department since 2018 and has made a positive impact around the district and within the department.
Sergeant Blair has a passion of making himself and others better, which is a great quality to have as a leader and will greatly benefit the department.

Congratulations to all!!

CLASS OF 2026 GRADUATION!

Graduation season is finally here! In order to make this a smooth experience for everyone in attendance, we are sharing these images with you to help with some questions you might have.

-GRADUATION ENTRANCES: This image shows all entrances that the public may use to enter the stadium. The entrances are circled in GREEN. The RED circle at the top left is NOT an entrance. This gate is strictly designated for administration, teachers, board members and graduates.

-FIELD ENTRANCES: This image shows 4 different entry points to the field that can be utilized once all graduates have walked across the stage. The entry points are circled in GREEN. Spectators on the HOME SIDE will be redirected to exit the stadium and use the double door gates. Once the commencement is done and the firework show is about to start, the gates will open and you will be allowed on to the field.

-POST GRADUATION TRAFFIC: This image shows traffic flow after graduation. If you’ve been in attendance to any of our Friday night football games, the traffic flow is similar. If you choose to exit by the GUARD SHACK, you will be instructed to take a RIGHT on Lake Bardwell. If you choose to exit by MCDONALDS, you will be instructed to take a LEFT on Lake Bardwell. You may also exit over by the AG barn through Lions Drive that will either lead you to Ensign or to the 287 service road.

A few extra reminders:

-NO BALLOONS ALLOWED!
-NO NOISE MAKERS OR AIR HORNS ALLOWED!
-NO FATHEAD CUT-OUTS ALLOWED!
-NO ITEMS THAT WILL OBSTRUCT THE VIEW OF OTHERS!
-NO RESERVING SEATS

As a precaution, Miller Intermediate and Crockett ECC have been placed in Secure due to a law enforcement matter in the vicinity of the Ennis Regional Medical Center. There is no incident on these campuses, and students and staff are safe. Secure status allows normal instruction to continue inside the buildings while exterior access is temporarily limited as a precaution. We are in communication with law enforcement and will provide updates as needed. The safety and security of our students and staff remain our top priority.

A lockdown at the junior high was inadvertently triggered this morning. There is no threat, and all students and staff are safe. We apologize for any inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding.
